The Retreat – TDC – Houston

The Retreat by TDC is a week-long academically engaging experience focusing heavily on Islamic knowledge and is geared towards community development and leadership. It offers qualified and credentialed instructors who will focus teach topics surrounding the American Muslim Identity, its history, and it’s current challenges.

What to Expect?:

By registering for and attending the Retreat by TDC, you will have exposure to sessions dealing with Islamic Sciences, including Hadith, ‘Aqeedah, Fiqh, spirituality, and Islamic History. You will also have sessions on Community Development and Leadership.

When and where it take place?

The Retreat by TDC will start on Friday, December 28th, 2018 at Asr time (03:45 PM) and will conclude on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at Maghrib time (05:30 PM). The Retreat’s Courses will start daily at 07:30 AM and end by Maghrib prayer during the rest of the days of the retreat.

It will take place at The River Oaks Islamic Center located at 3110 Eastside St, Houston, TX 77098 (Google Map).

How much does it cost?

The program in its entirety consists of over 82 hours of instructions and will cost $350.00 per student for the whole week. The admissions fee is geared primarily for covering the expenses of the program. It does not include food or other lodging accommodations.
